Ethiopia Ertale Volcano tour 2 Days
Day 1 Mekele – Volcano
In the morning we pick you up from the airport or your Hotel You start the trip to Ertale Volcano by Joining the group. The first part of the trip has a 305km drive upto the base camp of he Volcano . from the base camp the volcano there is a 3 to 4 hours walking. We start the walk after the sun gets down and the temperature start to cool.
You will hear the sound of eruptions roars and the smell of sulfur gas when you approach the volcano. Watching the flow lava lake and witnessing the eruption of magma is one of the best life time experiences one could ever Imagines.
Spend the night on The volcano
Day 2 Volcano – Mekele
Early morning We walk down from the rim of the volcano to the base camp Dodom. Drive to Afdera where you can swim in lake Afrera and take bath in a natural hot spring. Drive back to Mekelle.
Fly to Addis Ababa. Fly Home
