Day 1: Drive from Gonder to Simien Mountains National Park

In the morning after breakfast Drive from Gondar to the Siemen National Park a Unesco recorded world natural heritage site. On the way, we will make a stop At Debark (2800 M) to collect The guide, cook, Scouts, and permission after paying the necessary fees to the park office.  Here We will collect  All the necessary Items for the next days of our Trekking.  Then   We will continue our drive into the Park. The Simein mountain is found above 3000 M sea level and in many cases trekker’s need to be acclimatized to the high altitude of the area on the first day. On this day you will do a small trek of 2 hrs to Sankaber Campsite (3200 M). It has a stunning view over the valley and mountain range, and see the endemic gelada baboon troops. Arrive in Sankaber.

Day 2: Trek Sankaber –  Geech 

In the morning after breakfast you will starts the trek with a gentle stroll through the Erica heather that hangs on white lichen and mosses, it resembles with a white beard of an old man. From Sankaber  (3200 M) you will Trek to Gich  (3600m)   After 2-3 hours of trek you will reach  the seasonal Jinbar  water fall or Nigus Aysmush View point, although it is little or no water in the dry season  it is a very Impressive  500 Meter deep fall.  Usually the rare and graceful lammergeyer will be spotted, while soaring in search of food. We take a break at the river and have a picnic lunch before we start passing through a wounderful views of simen mountains range and ascend gradually on an undulating trail for 2-3 hours to reach the village of  Geech where we will camp for overnight.

Day 3: Geech – Imet Gogo – Gondar

Early morning After Break Fast leave Gich camp site to chenek. The trek will take from 7- 8 hrs. passing through One of the most scenic and spectacular trails in the National Park.  This route takes you to Imet Gogo View Point (3,926 m ) where you will be rewarded with 360-degree spectacular  Views into the lowlands, valleys,  canyon, and mountains range.

From Imet Gogo you will trek to Ayna meda where our car will wait for us for pick Up. Drive back to Gander With a scenic view through the Siemien Mountain National Park, via Debark town before continuing on to reach Gondar.

Day 4  Arbaminch  Arrival– Doze Village

Fly to Arbaminch In the morning. Drive to Dorze Village. The Dorze people are renowned for their weaving skills, music, dance, and beautiful elephant-shaped houses. They live in one of the most densely populated areas of the country. But they have maintained a lifestyle to coexist with the environment by practicing mixed farming, handicrafts and weaving. Drive to Arbaminch.

Day 5 Arbamich  – Turmi

Drive to Turmi via Konso Village . Konso is a UNESCO World Heritage site for its traditional Landscape terracing systems. With wonderful Walled Villages, Old community squares, Stone monuments, Generation poles, and carved statues. Konso has an immensely rich historical heritage and a Traditional Village atmosphere. Drive further crossing the Weito River, homes of stemay tribes and Bena tribes to arrive in Turmi.

Day 6 Turmi – Omorate

In the morning After breakfast Drive to Korcho. One of the Village of Karo People. Karo tribes call themselves Kara. which means fish eaters. Their most famous for their artistic body painting. After Visiting the Karo tribe we will back to Turmi for lunch. Afterward, we will visit Hamer Market, Bull Jumping ceremony, or Hamer Village.

Day 7 Turmi- Karo

After breakfast, Drive to Omorate  Home to the Dassanech tribe, on the border with Kenya along the Omo River and north of Lake Turkana. Cross the Omo River and visit their Mobile Village. Afterward drive back to Turmi for lunch then drive to Jinka on the way you will have a chance of attending the bull Jumping ceremony of  Hamers Boy rites of Passage, Visit Hamer Village or Visit tribal market in Turmi on Market Day.

Day  8  Turmi – Jinka

In The Morning We drive to Jinka where we will stay for the night. Jinka is home to The Ari People. Although Ari tribes are more modern they are the biggest tribes in omo valley and they are still in their traditional villages. On our way, if it is the Market day we may stop at Dimkea, Key Afer, or other small tribal Markets. We may see the Benna tribe, hammer tribe, and Tsemay tribes.

Day 9 Fly JinkaAddis Ababa

After Early Morning breakfast, we Drive to Mursi Village crossing Mago National Park. The Mursi tribes are the most well-known, because of the big lip plates of the Mursi women Which became the most Exotic Image of Omo Valley tribes. After spending time with the Mursi people we will drive back to Jinka for Lunch and transfer to the airport. Fly to Addis Ababa!
