Ethiopia Eratle Volcano Tour 2 Days
Day 1 Mekele – Volcano
In the morning we pick you up from the airport or your Hotel You start the trip to Ertale Volcano by Joining the group. The first part of the trip has a 305km drive up to the base camp of the Volcano. from the base camp to the volcano, there is a 3 to 4-hour walk. We start the walk after the sun gets down and the temperature start to cool.
When you approach the volcano, you will hear the sound of eruptions roars and the smell of sulfur gas. Watching the flow of lava lake and witnessing the eruption of magma is one of the best lifetime experiences one could ever imagine.
Spend the night on The volcano
Day 2 Volcano – Mekele
Early morning We walk down from the volcano’s rim to the base camp Dodom. Drive to Afdera where you can swim in Lake Afrera and take a bath in a natural hot spring. Drive back to Mekelle.
Fly to Addis Ababa. Fly Home
