Day 1 – Arrival – Addis Ababa City Tour
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for some rest.
Later, enjoy a guided city tour of Addis Ababa, offering a great introduction to Ethiopia’s history and culture. Visit the National Museum, home to “Lucy,” the famous 3.2-million-year-old human ancestor fossil. Drive up to Mount Entoto for panoramic views of the city, and visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie. End the day with a walk through Merkato, Africa’s largest open-air market.

Day 2 – Addis Ababa – Arba Minch
Drive south through the Great Rift Valley, passing through towns such as Butajira, Werabe, Alaba, and Wolaita Sodo. Enjoy scenic landscapes and views of rural Ethiopian life along the way.
Visit a Dorze village, known for its unique elephant-shaped houses, traditional weaving, music, and sustainable lifestyle. Continue to Arba Minch.

Day 3 – Arba Minch – Konso – Jinka
Take a morning boat trip on Lake Chamo in Nech Sar National Park to visit the famous “crocodile market,” where large crocodiles gather along the shore.
Drive to Konso, known for its impressive terraced agriculture and UNESCO World Heritage villages built on hilltops with stone walls. After lunch, continue through the lands of the Bena, Ari, and Tsemay tribes to Jinka.

Day 4 – Jinka – Mursi Village – Turmi
Travel through Mago National Park to visit a Mursi village. The Mursi are known for their unique lip plates worn by women and their strong connection to cattle and traditional lifestyles.
After the visit, drive to Turmi via Keyafer and Dimeka, passing through Bena tribal areas. If timing allows, visit a local market.

Day 5 – Turmi – Omorate – Turmi
Drive to Omorate to visit the Dasenech tribe, located near the Omo River and Lake Turkana. Cross the river by a traditional boat to reach their village. The Dasenech are pastoralists and fishermen, known for their distinctive beadwork and hairstyles.
Return to Turmi and visit a Hamer village. Learn about their daily life and traditions, including the famous bull-jumping ceremony, an important rite of passage for young men (subject to availability).

Day 6 – Karo Tribe Excursion
Visit Korcho village, home to the Karo tribe, located on a hill overlooking the Omo River. The Karo are renowned for their intricate body painting using natural pigments.
Return to Turmi in the afternoon. Visit local markets or Hamer villages and, if possible, attend a bull-jumping ceremony.

Day 7 – Turmi – Arba Minch
Drive back to Arba Minch, stopping at Keyafer market (on market days) and passing through Konso villages along the way. Enjoy scenic views and photo opportunities.

Day 8 – Arba Minch – Addis Ababa
Drive back to Addis Ababa. In the evening, enjoy a traditional farewell dinner featuring Ethiopian cuisine, music, and cultural dance.
Transfer to the airport for your departure.
