Day 1: Mekelle – Danakil Depression – Erta Ale Volcano
Pick-up from your hotel and departure in a group towards the Danakil Depression. Drive from Mekelle to Dodom, the starting point of this incredible expedition. From Dodom base camp, enjoy a 30-minute trek to the Erta Ale Volcano, known for its permanent lava lake. At night, witness the spectacular views of flowing lava and volcanic activity.

Day 2: Erta Ale – Dodom – Hamadela
Wake up early and return from Erta Ale to Dodom, then continue your journey with a scenic drive of approximately 100 km to Hamadela. Along the way, you will see camel caravans and enjoy a beautiful sunset over Lake Assale.

Day 3: Hamadela – Dallol – Mekelle – Addis Ababa
In the morning, drive to Ragad (Asebo) to observe traditional salt mining, then continue to Dallol to explore its extraordinary landscapes formed by volcanic activity—resembling Mars or the Moon. After this unique travel experience, drive back to Mekelle and take a flight to Addis Ababa.
