Trekking on the scenic landscape of Mount Simien with rare wildlife. To connect with nature and get a new perspective of Ethiopia.
Day 1 Gondar – Simien Mountain- Sanka Ber
Drive from Gondar to the Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will stop along the way at Felasha village (Ethiopian Jewish village) and see a scenic landscape. We will arrive in the town of Debark (2800 M) after 2 hrs drive. After collecting the trekking guide, the scouts, and the entrance permit, handling all the items for the Trekking, and pay the park fees, we go directly to the Simen National park to start our first day of trekking.
On This day you will have two or three hours of trekking to acclimatize you to the altitude (3200m) at the Sankaber campsite. the trekking route passes close to the edge of the escarpment with a beautiful view of the Simien mountain range and natural beauty. You will also see plenty of Gelada baboon troops endemic to Ethiopia.

Trekking Time: 2 to 3 hours.
Day 2 Sanaka Ber-f Gich
Early in the morning, after a good sleep and breakfast, you will start the trek to the village of Gich which is located at (3600m). passing through the valleys and enjoying the natural beauty of Mount Siemen passing by the side of the Jinibar waterfalls or the Nigus Aysmush viewpoint, although the waterfall may have little or no water in the dry season, it is still a beautiful gorge and An Impressive over 500 meters high waterfall in the rainy season.

Trekking Time: 5 to 6 hours.
Day 3 Gich – Imet Gogo – Gonder
Early morning After the short break leaves Gich’s camp and trek to Imet gogo (3926 m). Imet Gogo has the best spectacular viewpoint of Mount Siemen. It has a 360-degree Panoramic view of the area. You might spot the bearded vulture called Lamergayer. it has long and narrow wings that extend for 3 meters which allows it to remain in flight for a long time. From Imet Gogo you will return to the main road where the car is waiting for you to drive to Gondar.
